Picadilly House...

Upon first sight this green, raw cut stone from Bali looks a little lack lustre if not dull but used to fully tile a swimming pool, as it was here at the amazing Picadilly House near Byron Bay, it's true potential can be seen. A truly inviting turquoise water colour reminiscent of a Bali resort is the result of tiling with this volcanic stone. This pools surround was tiled with the beautiful and understated Bellagio Beige, Bush Hammered Marble, cut by hand at the waters edge to match the curves of this free form pool. The Marble (cut down to 100x100mm pieces) was also used for the first row of the pools interior tiling to avoid the wet/dry transition occurring on the more porous Sukabumi Stone

Outrigger Bay...
Resort pool renovations always have a tight time window for completion. This total pool transformation at Outrigger Bay Appartments in Byron Bay had us finishing just hours before the place filled up for Splendour in the Grass.
This area, at the centre of the resort, was really opened up with the removal of an existing bridge, widening of the pool coping and glass fencing to replace the old fence. Previously a pebblecrete top, we added a Travertine coping and Azure Blue glass mosaic waterline tiles. The interior of the pool was replaced with Reef Blue pebblcrete resulting in this inviting blue water colour.

Travertino Latte...
What started as a fully tiled pool with a Travertine coping and pool deck at this amazing Mullumbimby property became so much more. The owner had the vision and the confidence to contiue this beautiful, honed, unfilled stone to the back door, through the living areas of his home, into the bathrooms and laundry and out the front door to the driveway.
A bold move with spectacular results!

Sunrise Guesthouse...
This bush setting holiday pool in Belongil, near Byron Bay is unique. Tiling the gently inclined entry and coping with natural stone in this random style gives the feeling of walking into a slate bottomed billabong.
The pools interior is finished off with a gold coloured pebblecrete for a very natural looking, turquoise water colour.
